About Oh Heel No

Oh Heel No is a public service website designed to help you make more informed decisions about how to deal with your foot and leg pain.

Our mission is to get you to go from saying OH HEEL NO! to OH HEEL YES! by providing content that’s well-researched with your specific needs in mind.

Dreams of foot relief really do come true at OhHeelNo.com.

Welcome! My name is Chris and I happen to deal with a lot of foot pain myself, so I know what you’re going through. For me, the issue has mainly been plantar fasciitis, which is absolutely no fun at all, especially when trying to live an active lifestyle and run half-marathons (**points to picture below**).

About Oh Heel No
That me with my Brooks Adrenaline GTS shoes

I’m on a quest to not only help myself deal with foot pain, but YOU as well. That’s why I created this site! Let’s beat this together!

Whether you’re someone with neuropathy and wide feet who can’t seem to get relief from their job that requires them to stand all day, or someone with mild heel pain when walking barefoot around your house who’s looking for supportive slippers, we’ll do our very best to find solutions that work for your specific needs.

Our current team at Oh Heel No consists of two three dedicated researchers/writers and one content manager.

For those whose first language isn’t English, I recognize that the term “Oh Heel No” might not make sense. I feel compelled to explain.

When disapproving or when something hurts, it’s common for English-speakers to yell OH HELL NO!

Therefore, Oh Heel No is a play on words from Oh Hell No…because feet.

This is my attempt to create a brand name that’s both original and funny. And a lot less boring than a name like Foot Pain Resource *yawn*

We Obsess Over Foot Pain Solutions So You Don’t Have To

Oh Heel No’s approach to evaluating products and solutions for foot pain is based on one very important principle:

How can we help you eliminate or drastically reduce your foot pain?

That can look like a lot of things…

In a nutshell, we’ll attempt to get our hands (and feet) on as much data as possible to make informed recommendations. Data may include personal anecdotes and testing, scientific studies, firsthand interviews, and crowdsourced reviews.

We Also Love Saving People Time & Money!

Which is why you’ll see THIS on every single one of our product review pages.

If you know of any other AWESOME money or time-saving tips, please reach out via our contact page!

In addition, we are not biased towards any particular brands of footwear. Because of that, we do not accept money or samples from footwear companies in exchange for special consideration in the preparation of our reviews or ratings.
